DAY 2: TUESDAY FEB 15, 2022, 4-7 PM EDT
RECOGNIZING OUR INFLUENCES AND IMPLEMENTING CHANGE
Day 2 will be organized along three tracks:
Educators (K-12 and higher education)
Educational Leaders (e.g., Deans, School Principals, DEI leaders, etc.)
Clinicians
For each attendee, the day will include:
Two mini-keynotes by each track co-leader (by track)
Breakout groups (by track and involving active participation by attendees)
Discussion and review (by track, led by track co-leaders)
Full group synthesis (all attendees together, led by all six track co-leaders)
Closing remarks (all attendees together)
The day will begin with separate mini-keynotes for each of the three tracks above, followed by small-group reflection and brainstorming regarding challenges and practical solutions related to supporting Asian American students. After reflection and brainstorming, breakout groups will come back together by track for a facilitated discussion led by each track’s two co-leaders, after which all attendees will join together in a larger conference-wide discussion and synthesis of key reflections and ideas from the breakout groups. We are honored to have the closing panel discussion and synthesis facilitated by Josephine M. Kim, Ph.D., Founder and Lead Faculty Advisor of the Let’s Talk! Conference.
Day 2 mini-keynotes will be recorded so attendees will have access to all of the talks from this day. The full group synthesis and closing remarks will also be recorded.
